We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated Upwork Bidder to manage and grow our presence on Upwork. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in proposal writing, lead generation, and client communication, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term clients. This role plays a key part in driving consistent deal flow and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Proposal Writing & Bidding
- Generate qualified leads through Upwork and related platforms.
- Engage with prospects to understand requirements and project scope.
- Filter and qualify leads before handover to the sales or technical team.
Client Communication
- Communicate professionally with clients via Upwork messages, calls, and interviews.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and follow-ups.
- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Account & Performance Management
- Maintain and optimise the Upwork profile, including the portfolio and case studies.
- Track proposal submissions, responses, and conversion rates.
- Share regular performance updates and insights with management.
Job Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder or in a similar freelance platform role.
- Proven experience in proposal writing, lead generation, and client communication.
- Strong written English and persuasive communication skills.
- Basic understanding of IT services, software development, or cloud solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrated Upwork success (job success score, earnings, long-term clients).
- Experience working with international clients.
- Familiarity with CRM or lead tracking tools.
- Background in IT services, cloud services, or digital solutions.
