At GoCloud, we are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in cloud services to lead revenue growth and strategic client acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud solutions and the ability to convert complex client requirements into high-value business opportunities. AWS experience is a strong advantage for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in cloud services, including cloud migration, managed services, and cloud consulting.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations and close commercial agreements.
Client Engagement
- Engage with prospective clients to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
- Present cloud solutions in a clear, value-driven manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build long-term relationships with enterprise and SMB clients.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure accurate solution scoping and pricing.
- Provide market feedback to leadership regarding client needs, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and service positioning.
Reporting & Performance
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Track sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to leadership.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within IT or cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and service models.
- Proven ability to close mid-to-large value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of AWS services (certifications are a plus).
- Experience selling cloud migration, DevOps, SaaS, or managed cloud services.
- Existing network of clients or partners in the cloud ecosystem.
